Generally speaking the bags were usually taken off another Sordide release, I think JP Turmel himself confirmed that either none or not many had the bag on release.

#304 is up on ebay...BIN £675?!?!  Must be a pre-Christmas panic sell, surely?

Wow! A buy-it-now that's not ridiculously overpriced, first I've seen in a long time.

I'm guessing he's banking on a quick sale for quick return, but it does seem just a bit too cheap to me...

Sorry, been a bit inattentive, have updated the listing with the latest findings.  Still need to go back through and replace all the expired eBay links with popsike (which redacts the buyer/seller info), but they do rate limit searches/access, so this has been a gradual process.

As for #304, that's only 75 GBP more than what he paid...still, it's over 10% not a bad ROI considering it was only a few months ago.

Hi JD Fans !
New to the forum that I read since many years, I finally created an account
I am the new owner of the JD Sordide Sentimental - N. 304.
I received it 2 days ago, in near mint condition really & the JD 'holy grail' at a reasonnable price
I listen to JD since 1988 ..... I am 36 years old ... Collect them since 1990 ...
Lots of live, bootlegs .... I had in hands the originals 7" & 12" 'An ideal for Living' but sold them some years ago .... For sure, I will try to collect those once again ... I put my hands in this 'Sordide Sentimental' as for me it seems to be a piece of history ..... JD is THE bans who follow my Life ...... No need to tell more ...
So happy I am to be there on this JD discussion ...

"The whole package is practically mint" - wonder how much it would be priced at if actually mint?!

Hmmm...5 grand?

http://sordide-sentimental.com/shop/index.php?productID=144

'MINT' condition means unplayed, and I am yet to see one that hasn't been run at least once to check it is what it says [oh for a mis-pressing!!] and unless the artwork was stored flat and sealed the same applies...

The 5000 Euro's one on Sordide's shop is an original test pressing ... 1 of only 3 .... but its still pretty steep in price!

It sold for US $168.50.

So now we know - the record's worth $168.50, the sleeve + bits are worth $1,000

To keep your records up to date, I was the buyer of 1459 back in January.
Cheers, Dave.

I'm mates with Martin Dust of Sheffield's electronic outfit The Black Dog, when I posted the eBay link he remarked that he has 2 Sordides, which he said he got for £20 from a skint mate many years ago ... hoping he'll think to sort the 2 serial numbers for us

Everyone, thanks, I've updated my listing according.

Marko, how could I miss this?  Hopefully I can make contact with some folk and see if I can fill out my list.
