That's true, apart from the horrible prices these new ones are more interesting than all those endless reissues of Warsaw and Paradiso etc.

I would be curious to Know it it is a real remaster and how does it sound in comparison to the original release that i have (live Malvern/Erics lp/)

I think it goes without saying this re-issue is from a different master than the old German blue vinyl. That one had quite a poor sound (its re-ssue “Isolation” was even worse). I’m somewhat curious who owns the master tape of the Malvern show today, but surely it can’t be far from the person behind the Aussie “Wintergardens” 2CD from 2004. Maybe this vinyl is done from the master for that release.

Ha! I once owned it too. You can’t play that record without a strong pitch control, because it runs wayyy too fast, at least +5%
And the sound quality isn’t great either. I heard it on youtube once and it sounded a lot less muffled than the LP. Maybe it was one of Fage’s uploads.

This week I bought an original Factory Closer CD for €5, and when given the choice between that and a 250 Aussie $ fancy schmancy bootleg LP I’d still go for the Closer CD. I wish the person willing to fork out their hard-earned cash for that LP lots of fun.

Just curious,tj,in what condition was the cd & where did you buy it?i have them double & paid £10,mint condition.my UP's were a tad more,£15 mint, second one i paid nearly £25 but got damaged on transport which i got refunded but with a little repair its in excellent condition.the third one was praised as mint so i got that one 14€ but that one was the worst but still functionable....and got half refunded too.all thats missing is a nimbus still or the canadian issue which cost a small fortune.i also recommend getting the full peel sessions by mayking, really worth it and reasonable priced.
Best wishes....

I am one that forks out $250 for an aussie LP, some are absolutely brilliant like live malverns test pressing LP, blows away eric's blue vinyl in quality, have over 200 Lp's now and no regrets buying any bootleg to date, best scores were  die kalten winde des winters, bought doubles of all colours except yellow, he send 3 blues, $30 bucks each, pretty much all the test pressings of the bootlegs, "to the centre of koln" vol 2 a masterpiece, who would do sleeves for 2-3 copies??, the postie is arriving today with the sound of music vol 2, happy with the $300 price, he only has 2 in this colour with this sleeve, I have avoided all the Warsaw boots, cheap sleeves/ production etc, i guess after 40 years collecting joy division i am supporting my love of the band by investing in these on the off chance a goodie turns up and they have!!,

Except from the very well made sleeves, are the recordings different to their predecessors?like unknown soundboard rec. ,remastered & such?i seldomly buy boots, only those gigs i absolutely love, like altrincham, lyceeum and cologne which i still don't have and is hard to get on vinyl, even the cd is expensive.i would do the same but i am happy concentraiting on all official releases & am lucky to have gotten them for an affordable price which was time consuming but worth the effort.
Would love to see your collection, why don't you post them in the "whats in your collection" thread?
Thanks upfront....

I prefer by far the initial release few posts above (that I own too).
These releases are nice but colors lp & pic sleeve do not match really together ...
Near affordable btw ....
