Hi everyone,

In 2012...when I started my blog and made a post about Bowdon Vale Youth Club show - someone (actually by anonymous) wrote a comment where he said that he have a perfect version of audience tape of this gig and give a link on the sampler. At the time I thought it was just low. gen of circulation tape and I can find it...but... After 2 years I found it on my HDD...and I was amazed - it sounds like unheard previously version...The quality is night and day to what has been in circulation. This sounds much more audible...and clearer.

It's a shame but I didn't answered and don't got a full tape. It's a link for listening the sampler so that everyone can compare with your version. (I can share lossless version of this if you need)

Maybe anyone have this tape or just can shed any light on this?

Sorry for my awful English.

Cheers.
fage.

I might have the wrong angle on this but........

If this recording does surface (and I have to say that the clip of 'Shadowplay' is stunning in comparison to what I have heard before from Bowden Vale) it should/might put the matter of whether 'Exercise One' was or was not the opening track played, and whether that track was taped originally from another Joy Division concert, and 'ended up' on the tape which then circulated of the Bowden Vale gig.

I really would love to hear the rest of the concert in the quality of that clip........
