Is it me, or does it seem suspicious that in this listing disorder76 posted, the seller claims he bought it in the '80s and he hasn't brought it out of his collection in 8 years, yet already after that one is sold he's got another one up for sale?

he's constantly relisting...could be a scammer as he received positive feedback for selling it once (1200 quid):

????
So what is wrong with this last one?
Only 30 hours to go, and it has only fetched 175 GBP.
This lookes genuine to me....serrated ring around label, the right contour of the center...
I feel tempted, does somebody know something that should warn me?

Ahhh......, ok...., i was too frantic when i saw the price, which can make one loose his mind.
Basically, this guy has been offering numerous originals in the past months and has sold at least two.
he states that the sales never got through finally, but only accepts bank transfer, that will give you no way to get your money back if he sends you a boot later on, what i assume paypal would do.
:-((  Oh, well there had to be something wrong......

Interesting copy, supposedly given by IC to his friend Tony Nuttall. US$1,800 for starting bid? What a bargain! [crazy]

"This copy of AIFL is interesting as it comes from Ian Curtis's childhood friend Tony Nuttall, and was given to Tony by Ian in 1978. Tony is mentioned in most JD/IC bios. Sale will include a signed letter from Tony stating that he originally acquired this copy from Ian (see photo in listing)."

Free postage tho on that one DMXI 😉

I wish i had bought the 7" for £50 back in 1985 when i had the chance - but I opted for the orig 12" for £30 instead ... due to the improved sound quality (and the fact that it was £20 cheaper !)

Oooh, any regrets?i would've probably made the same decision due to sound issues.who could've known which status the 7" would one day reach...even though the signs were already there in '85!£30-£50 were a lot of cash for a record in those days too....crazy.but having a 12" should be soothing anyway, always be happy with what you got.never had the chance of holding one,let alone owning one[wink]
Ps:how are you doing  in these virulent days, pat?germany is becoming a nuthouse....

Sorry for the delay DMXI, I’ve only just seen your comment

Regrets ... I’ve had a few ... but then again ... it’s sometimes good to be happy with your lot :)

Its certainly strange times ... given everything that’s going on right now with the virus.
This is the first week In my opinion that people in the U.K. are starting to take matters seriously ...

Stay safe
