hi there...

i have just covered decades... i made it with my computer, guitare, singing and the ticks at the beginnig and middlepart are just handclaps and a knife on a plasticbowl. it´s so hard to cover these songs... and to get the feeling even in singing. ok, ian can´t be covered truly... but in respect it is so nice to do it anyway. hope you like it... or tell me what you don´t like. you´re welcome... greetings

Well I quite liked that. The musical part is a clean, modern, and almost cheerful sound -which is surprising for such a serious song!

It is hard to cover Ian. Every time I try I sound like a cross between Patti Smith and a boiled cat. You did very much better :-)

The only thing I don't like are the main-synth-parts. They are wrong but - at least I guess so - not on purpose.

At least I thought so before reaching 3:14 and 4:12. These parts are often overheard and I even like the improvisations and little changes to the original you added. The second voice synth parts during the last part of the song are o.k. with me too.

But it would sound much much better if you would get the synth-notes right on the main part. If it was on purpose I'm wrong, but I kind of doubt it is.
And maybe think more about sound in general.

I'm not kind but I seriously did listen to your version. Isn't that kind?
And I didn't deny that there is potential. And I'm the last to not appreciate handclaps and knives on platicbowls.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to listen to your work! I really like it and writing about everything that could be improved is my way of showing my appreciation (Hey I'm a Joy Division Fan, so the lack of social skills is just mandatory!)
