Hi all,.
I'm a big JD fan and , although not s collector of vinyl upto this point, is love to get hold of a first pressing of UP and maybe even closer one day..
as mentioned, I'm a novice with vinyl and don't want to be sold a dud,.
Whilst reading some old posts on the things to look out for, when buying an original from fake I wondered, is there a reliable place where I can buy first pressing (1979) UP vinyl ??. Where it's legit and I don't have to worry ?
I appreciate that the answer is likely to be no but at present I can only see the vinyl I'm after online and I'm slightly sceptical about buying without at least seeing it , even to a novice's eye ..
any help , tips or advice would be appreciated..
many thanks

Thanks DMXI .. is this a reliable source then ?
I'm hoping to get one of the 10,000 first pressings of UP ... is there anything distinctive on the sleeve or record that'd confirm ??
Were they numbered at all ?

All identifiers are mentioned with pressing date.you will find that factory pressings are a science in themselves....but discogs is reliable in collecting data as its open source.
