My youngest is with you, jamesx2. She loves to bob in her car seat to Temptation, oo-oo-ooing and waving her arms. As a bonus, I get to sing about her gray/green/brown eyes:

Blue Monday. The only competition for Blue Monday would be The Beach... :-)

I like "Isolation" more for being so obscure. Curtis flirting with electronic Dance Beats and Disco...
The Lyrics so desperate, the second verse so "uplifting": let's start with some High-Hat thing during the second verse....
Not so uplifting the lyrics that come with these high-hats...

Hooky on an all analogue 4-string bass, no support from a synth for that bass-thing...

The most catchy and danceable? Are you serious?
Blue Monday was played a million times in a million discotheques. Isolation? Not so...

Think about how obscure Kraftwerk was, at least for U.S. and UK people...
But it just made sense to play them in a disco...

Isolation is one of the least favourite songs from Joy Division for me (which implies it is still one of the best songs ever in general...)

but who knows, it's just so obscure.
