I especially like the last poster for the Salford gig as I remember supplying the PA for the day. I'm also certain there were more than the three bands billed on the poster. I know the Frantic Elevators certainly played and even opened the event. I recall hearing Hucknalls voice through headphones, rather than through the muffled walls of TJ Davidson's, and remarked how I felt he had a great voice, despite all else. It was a good day and one of the few I can actually remember quite vividly. We had the desk quite high up amongst the banked seating, on the left looking down at the stage. It was an early evening start as I remember it still being light when the first band came on, even niping our for a fish supper in the daylight, which made for a pleasent change and gave the whole event a festival vibe. The day must have been promoted by Rob as we didn't have any kind of rapor with the Nosebleeds, having never hired our PA to them, despite going to the same school as front man Eddie Garrity and who I would have known fairly well. Colin

Yes it is Erik. The dimensions on the sellers listing confirm it

I've seen the complete Refractured box-set with the repro poster sell for much less.

I got one of those, mine's number 6/500. Also got a FAC 1 numbered repro (170/500) around the same time, both with signed letters. They were a lot cheaper then!

Interestingly, I was the high bidder on that Bains Douche poster posted above. However, I checked this site along with Worthpoint and realized quickly that it was the re-issue. I told the seller that the poster was not original. I showed him completed listings for the sealed box sets and explained that he wasn't selling an original item. He said I should retract my bid. But--of course--he didn't take down the listing. Does anyone know when this poster was re-printed? You can see in the size and spacing of the text that clearly they're not the same run.

Im not aware that it has been re-printed? I had never seen that design surface until someone sold one about a year ago on ebay ... a genuine seller who also sold an original yellow Salford College of technology gig poster from Dec '78 and one other original (they each went for over £2.5K each). Hooky included one of the blue Factory Jan/Feb '79 posters in his recent Omega Auctions sale ... only times ive seen them

I saw someone selling on on eBay, clearly counterfeit and badly laid out.

The one listed on eBay recently wasn't the version sold in the Omega auction. There's no question that the layout is different. I bought the one listed on eBay suspecting that it was some kind of re-print (but willing to burn the cash on the chance that it might be an original variant). I'm happy to own a vintage bootleg, too. Now that it's in my possession, I'm not sure exactly what it is. It is definitely not an inkjet copy that someone has printed at the local Kinkos. And it seems odd that someone would re-print such an esoteric piece while pointlessly altering the layout. It also presents as a lithograph when viewed under a magnifying glass. I sometimes encounter this buying Smiths and New Order posters. I assume things were re-printed for record shops. That could be the case with this poster. But then I question why--if they were mass-produced--have only two have come up for sale in the last 10+ years. I subscribe to Worthpoint and Thesaleroom for this reason.
