If this Joy Division Road Case Original ! Authentic ! is Genuine !
That means you are in possession of Stolen property belonging to New Order/Joy Division and the Police will have to be informed.
However I will give you £5.00 for the Case to take the Heat of you.[smile]

Today is May 18 ! Doesn't that mean anything to any of you ? patteasdale, johnny23, dmxi, steve303, PhilC ?

And you are all writing derogatory, spiteful, angry, negative posts !!!

On the day Ian decided to could not take his pain any more !!!

Are you only on Joy Division Central to hurt, lash out, and cause pain to strangers - someone you have never even met in your life before ???

Not a mention of IAN !!! Not ONE of you dares !!!

We here in Canada are shocked and abhorred by the recent tragedy in Manchester. We stand with all the Mancunians to support all those who have been hurt, all those who grieve, and all those who will not be tricked into entering the viscous cycle of hatred and revenge. Stand strong Manchester, and stand strong Britian.

Some of the many books that were used for my research. Thanks again to Lindsay, Mick, and Kevin for giving me their permissions to share their material when I asked if they would grant it.

After the terrible tragedy in Manchester, there were many people physically hurt, and others shared the pain, including Mr. Hook, Mr. Sumner, and I'm sure Stephen Morris and all New Order and everyone here at Joy Division Central.

“It was the worst thing I’ve ever felt. I can’t imagine what other people are going through. It’s heartbreaking.”

On Manchester, he added: “The people are very resilient. They go for it. Nothing will keep us down. I don’t think it will stop us, I don’t think it will stop anyone. You have to believe in what you believe in, which is freedom.

“There’s a spirit which has to go on. Manchester is very good at keeping its spirit and keeping going. We have to keep on going, we have no choice.”

( source -  http://www.irishnews.com/magazine/entertainment/2017/05/24/news/peter-hook-hails-manchester-s-spirit-as-he-tells-of-alarming-call-from-daughter-at-gig-1034754/&nbsp  )

and this :

New Order frontman Bernard Sumner struck a poignant note at the International Music Summit (IMS) with his powerful comments about the Manchester Arena terror attack.

The Joy Division founding member took part in a keynote interview with DJ and IMS co-founder Pete Tong on the second day of the dance music conference in Ibiza.

Asked about the horrific events in his native Manchester last week, which left 22 people dead, Sumner said: “It breaks my heart. What a pointless loss of life. What a pointless act of brutality. Obviously, it's my home city and it strikes a note with me.

“It's just gut-wrenching, heart-breaking what's happened to those mostly teenage girls at a concert in Manchester. It just seems completely barbaric and pointless, and breaks my heart.”

We all support you, and we stand in strength with everyone in wonderful Manchester, from all over the world. I have come to learn that Mancunians are indeed passionate, heartfelt and proud of their wonderful city, culture and people, and have every reason to be so. Keep fighting the good fight, don't give in to the anger and madness such terrorists wish to infuse you with. Know that no one may defeat you without your permission.

  Stay strong !

                                                     The proportions match perfectly.
It WAS their road case, so having it on stage while they were playing was common.

ALBION ! a HUGE Thank YOU for your post... where you commented...

"The stains on the case match the ones on Barney's case. Even the scratch marks match."

from post #84 here, where you had the creativity, and took the time and effort to compare two key photos side by side. I should have thanked you here on Joy Division Central earlier, but it just seemed such a perfect way to make the most important point - that it has a guaranteed and registered history. But I Still should have thanked you here, too.

I have not done that myself, but it was a really positive idea. Your support is appreciated.

I see you have been a huge part of Joy Division Central yourself, making so many contributions, so that means a lot to me. It's great to have someone positive and passionate replying. That means so much now.

Thank you also for your personal messages and best wishes.

Cheers, mate !

I agree. Where will that line be though?

Perhaps we need to establish what kind of drink was spilled on it before this case is closed.

People lay flowers near London Bridge station following Saturday's terrorist attack (Isabel Infantes/PA)

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4571396/Well-wishers-lay-blanket-flowers-London-Bridge.html

Positive energy can overcome darkness. Terrorists must not be tolerated !

Those whose lowly hatred, who take sadistic pleasure from being the adversary, who only wish to destroy, have no soul. Their prayers are to achieve a reaction of horror. They wish for someone or something to give their horrible existences some meaning.  Those who feel they must attack are just desperate for attention.

By terrorizing, they wish and hope to enrage in a whirlpool of emotion ! They wish you to keep them company on their lowest of roads. Don't enable them. Do not let them kill your spirit.

     "Don't lose the feeling..."

Compassion, and caring, love and respect for all people is the answer.

Rest in peace, all those who lost their lives, in Manchester and London, including a fellow Canadian of mine, a lady visiting your great capital and country.

So everyone has seen the case, but I just discovered this - at 2minutes, 20 seconds,  Peter talks about how the flight case was recorded as the bass drum and used on the album Unknown Pleasures !!!

at 3:34 Peter talks again about how all the equipment, including this case, had been stolen in New York City.

Hello Mr Morris, Hello Mr. Sumner,

I have repeatedly emailed Rebecca Boulton many times, in which I have repeatedly and politely and friendly and professionally asked her to pass on to you, and to please confirm to me that you have, or will, forward them to both of you. She has just replied to the letter I sent her last night and has not confirmed that she did Passover, or even intends to Passover my Transmission/s to either one or both of you, either today, Twenty Four Hours from now, These Days, or At a Later Date.

I was told by a member of New Order that Rebecca was the person to contact, but I have also contacted Andrew Robinson repeatedly, as he is apparently Still involved in New Order's Prime Management, but he has never replied in any way.

I have even priority-mailed my own old fashioned, personally handwritten postal letter to Prime Management's address, to be forwarded to both of you, with no response at all.

Please contact me if you wish.

Looks like Mr. Sumner was reflecting on " JOY DIVISION ", and what it meant to them.

He is not blinking, but rather looking you straight in the eye, and daring you to put Joy Division down.

Bernard has the look also of, " C'mon, you judges, go ahead and criticise what Joy Division was, and Still is. Judge me, judge us, condemn us you hypocrites !  You will never create something as sublime, or powerful ! "

If people have no interest in this case, then why are they consumed with posting belittling comments to intentionally try to interfere with something of which they do not, and can not, know all the confidential information of how and why the case came to be in my possession ?

For some reason, the case came to me, not any of those who send such disparaging and unrelated comments.

Does anyone making any comment so far even have the smallest idea of who the stranger is who is writing these words, who they are going out of their way in their to sabotage, to intimidate, to gang up on, to pick on...

     Ian was victimized also.

Ian sang about such darkness, and killed himself.

" I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through... "

" Whether it was intentional or not, the wives and girlfriends had gradually been banished from all but the most local of gigs and a curious male bonding had taken place. The boys seemed to derivetheir fun from each other. Ian intensely disliked foam rubber and hated touching it, and when JoyDivision could at last afford flight cases, they amused themselves by pulling bits of foam from theinsides and dropping them down the back of Ian’s neck.  "

(  The above is an excerpt from

https://www.scribd.com/document/327174921/Deborah-Curtis-Touching-From-Distance-pdf &nbsp  )

I wonder how Deborah Curtis found out the bandmates were throwing foam from the road case at Ian...  Did he feel the band personally and intentionally disturb Ian so much that he raised the subject to her ?

"...Left with a mark on the door,... ?
