Esp.the corners!
CAN anyone recommend good outer sleeves/pvc covers that help to keep the corners crisp and sharp? Any specifics or brand to purchase for best conservation?i also like coloured inners, but dunno if they are the best?i have digged through many vids but most contradict themselves, thats why i have more trust in this community. (i have heard of mo-fi inners, just wanted to find a more affordable version....i have atleast 75-100 lps to rescue!) Thanks upfront for reading and considering to share knowledge,i know we have some mad collectors like myself here!

DO NOT use PVC sleeves. Use lighter gauge ones. 'Bag rash' on vinyl is a real thing as I have found to my cost. Google it.

I am unsure if you mean standard "pvc" outer sleeves?i have varios, from the  60-70ties for records i've collected from my parents and newer ones for my stuff, like:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/50-Stuck-LP-Deluxe100-Schutzhulle-325x325-f-Vinyl-12-Schallplatten-u-Doppel/174145693956?hash=item288be46904:g:CPEAAOSwuTxWAqke

And for inners i go for these:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Schallplatten-LP-Innenhullen-80g-m-schwarz-Eckschnitt-gefuttert/183530613000?_trkparms=aid%3D1110001%26algo%3DSPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3De5b0d65cd5604739b1cadc3fb87d3025%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D402005622637%26itm%3D183530613000%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109

Mostly black, but i go for differing colours...depending on main colour of sleeves colour which ois i try to replace.
Anyway,i am looking for best products that have been known&tested by serious collectors here, how to avoid bent cover corners and such other minute details.....just to keep those mo-fo's crisp!
Cheers wab, looking forward to help and direct me to the best products collectors testify to.....
Best wishes....-dmxi-

I had the urge to clean my UP lp last night slightly inebriated with a couple of drops of 70% isapropanol (and no,i didn't drink that[wink]) on a standard record cleaning cushion-thingy....then i googled if it was harmful for vinyl, getting conflicting information.i know, stupid doing it after the fact but my question to you all is,do i have reason for concern or is it ok if i have done it only once?any tips or other advice is highly appreciated.thanks upfront-dominic/dmxi

dmxi, I make the assumption that the 'swirls' you refer to are the areas I have ringed. If so, they are a phenomenon known as 'Newton's Rings'. If you are really interested you can Google the term, but in brief, it is a purely optical phenomenon, caused by reflection and refraction, and has no physical effect whatsoever. Having said that, because of the generation of static electricity possible from use of plastics, my recommendation for inner sleeves would be acid-free paper, such as is recommended for the archival storage of photographs. Hope that helps.

Thats where i got my info from (wabznasm) but this just concerns picture discs kept in heavy pvc sleeves.all my lps are,of course, kept in static free sleeves.wabznasm made me aware of 'bag rash' which is an actual thing but i am not so concerned with pic.discs as they are not made for spinning on't turntable, just mere for optics.
You posted a pic in your comment....weird that it doesn't show at my end???
