No Love Lost during the Karl Pilkington review on the Culture Show, hardly a week goes by without hearing Joy Division used on TV somewhere.

Digital and New Dawn Fades on a Radio 4 show about the skateboard craze of the 80s. "Day in, day out" to illustrate how the presenter skateboarded every day and NDF to mark his sadness when his mates all grew out of boarding.
JD fans now dominate the media.

Must admit I was real choked up when they played Atmosphere at the end.....no not the end of Control, at the end of the Spurs - Getafe Uefa cup match!
Also heard Exercise One as the credits ran at the end of C4's Michael Jackson documentary. Still trying to figure out the connection there.

Flicking through TV last night and heard Ceremony (New Order version) on some programme about Coronation Street weddings, but that wasn't the most suprising, they also had 'Damaged Goods' by Gang Of 4 in the background!

The cheeky (********) played Ceremony in the background on a program last night about a millionaire who wanted to give a donation to the dilapidated Salford boys club, which we all know was the cover for a Smiths album. It made it all the more insulting that Morrissey was/is not a JD fan!!!.

Top Gear, such a guilty pleasure, often very funny but could cheerfully poke Clarkson's eyes out and piss in the sockets!

WTF. You guys are making me jealous. There is so little half-decent music on North American TV. Anderson Cooper on CNN used to play "Fool's Gold" on the segues of his show, and that was shocking. I can't even find any Joy Division merch in stores here, and I live in a proper city. We used to have shops that carried posters, postcards, shirts, pins and patches of good bands, but I suppose internet shopping has made it pointless to stock niche items. I went into a store yesterday that had posters of the VU, The Clash and fucking INTERPOL, but no Joy Division. God.
