With the current economic climate, I’m selling my Unknown Pleasure, Closer and Still UK 1st pressings. This is gut wrenching for me, but I have to do it. I’m offering them here, not on Ebay.

Here is the rundown.

1. Unknown Pleasures

Groove notations:

A: 'Step” “A Porky Prime Cut” “FACT 10 - Inside A”

B: 'This is the way' “A Porky Prime Cut” “FACT 10 - Outside B”

Rare, Translucent Red vinyl.

Textured outer sleeve with "Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd" in the lower right-hand side of the rear sleeve.

Rounded inter sleeve

2. Closer

Groove notations:

A: “Old Blue”. “FACT 25 A - 1”

B “FACT 25 B - 1”

Black labels with silver lettering.
Outer sleeve is coarse fiber-board paper

Inner sleeve fiber paper with rounded corners with "Garrod & Lofthouse" in the credits.

3. Still

Groove notations:

A: “The Chicken Non Stop” “FACT 40 A” “TOWN HOUSE”

B: There are chicken foot prints. “FACT 40 B” “TOWN HOUSE”

C: There are chicken foot prints. “FACT 40 C” “TOWN HOUSE”

D: “The Chicken Stops Here” “FACT 40 D” “TOWN HOUSE”

White labels with Silver lettering

Hessian sleeve with white ribbon.

Inter Sleeves are heavy Fiber-paper.

Inter Vinyl holders are heavy Fiber-paper.

Bottom of Rear inter-sleeve is “Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse”

The jewel of the collection is my copy of Closer. It’s in pristine condition. The sleeve, inter-sleeve, and vinyl are in amazing condition. Unknown Pleasures and Still show wear, but the vinyl is in very good condition. I will provide pictures to those who are interested. Send me a Private message with any questions.

I’m also selling my Komackino 1st pressing. Live at the Lyceum Ballroom Feb 29, 1980.

Komackino

Groove notations: None.

Labels inside Runoff groove:

A: The woman on the cover has “Inside” near her arms.

B: Black label with white writing. “Joy Division” “Komackino” “J.D. 01” “OUTSIDE” “GD 01 MADE IN UK”

Sleeve is not glossy.

Dmxi, I know you will read this. Still holding the “Try To Cure Yourself” boot for you mate.....lol

I met a bloke in Vinyl Exchange Manchester Yesterday,Who had to sell his Original 7" of An Ideal For Living to pay a few bills,And now is considering flogging off other JD treasures just to keep himself solvent,Sometimes life is cruel.
