I'm selling my records and other memorabilia (again). I'll be putting stuff up soon (original IFL 12", Factory Sample).

Keep checking back. Thanks.

It's good to actually put a link when you have things for sale!

What's really good is when people thoroughly read and comprehend what is being communicated in a posting.

If you look again, there is a link to my eBay store. There is currently nothing there, but, as I said, I will be posting stuff soon.

For future reference, this is (in part) a signal to interested parties to provide want lists, ask questions and/or make offers via PM or email. Sales can be done without having to resort to FeeBay.

If you prefer higher prices and paying fees I'll be happy to pass those costs along to you when the time comes.

You will be posting stuff "soon" and then over two years later you bump the post. Different.

Best to let people know when you have got stuff for sale, not a link to something that might happen one day. Regardless if it's on ebay, or privately.

Checked you're link and found nothing.

So, um, yeah...

Thought about what I did later. Spewed that rant and then dashed off to work. Edited original post and then bumped it (which doesn't really help).

Sorry everyone.

By the way, did I mention I have stuff for sale?

Sorry I don't have a list online to link to. I don't even have this stuff cataloged.

Important Note: Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) I have was acquired prior to '94, so any later editions/pressings (legit or otherwise) do not apply.

O.K., off the top of my head:

-IFL 12" (original Anonymous)
-Factory Sample (no stickers)
-Short Circuit (four versions: orange with poster, standard black, Greek 12", CD)
-Earcom 2

-Various editions of UP, Closer, and Still. UK and US editions, Imports from Spain, Portugal, Greece. Original press Hessian and Italian mispress of Still. First US edition CD of Closer (sorry, no long box)

-Various editions of 7 and 12" singles. Transmission, LWTUA, Atmosphere- UK, US editions, imports from Spain, Portugal, Japan, Komakino flexi (UK and US), (Sorry, no Sordide. Sold my original a couple years ago )

-Both Peel Sessions (Strange Fruit)

-Here Are The Young Men VHS ("cigarette" box)
-Purple box editions of UP, Closer, and Still

Sorry this list is so shoddy. I've never actually cataloged anything. Sorry there's no condition given either. In many cases, I am the original owner and most I would grade at very good+ to NM. They have been stored in a non-smoking household for the entire 20+ years I have owned them. I've always been super-anal about my records.

I also have a few "unofficial" releases  (7", 12", CD) and New Order items as well.

I will continue to provide more details as I go through what I have. If you see anything here that interests you please contact me and I will give you more details. Please send a want list if you have one.

Thank you, and sorry again for the earlier stupidity.

I've always been of fan of the 'under sell, over deliver' ethic .......

....... unfortunately, you seem to prefer the opposite

You honestly would have better luck if you listed more than one item. You would sell more, and generate more interest in what you are trying to do.

You've also given a sketchy description of what you have. There are a lot of collectors on here, but would want to see pictures, then bid accordingly to their budget. I could ask you if you have any New Order bootleg LP's, then you would get back to me and say yes I have these, what will you pay, or no I don't and it's a waste of time.

3 years to finally get something on sale and post a few pics?

Fookin quality. Keeping with tradition in the proper Factory ethos.

Good luck with yer auction mate.

Naw. Edited an old thread I started from a previous bit of selling.

Was just trying not to clutter-up the boards by starting a whole new thread. Did a real bang-up job, and am now providing entertainment/irritation for some folks here apparently.

Thanks for the well-wishes.

Everyone is always looking for some entertainment here. Joy Division haven't made an album for some 31+ years.

It looks to me like you bought these things around 1989.  I'm curious about the FAC 2 - I'm assuming it had no stickers when you got it?

Makes me wonder, who the heck would lose an entire sheet of 4 stickers from that single?  Now the single little diamond-shaped Use Hearing Protection man sticker, I could almost understand ...

You are correct. I did my collecting from around '87 to '92. The Factory Sample was around '90/'91. The guy I bought it from sold it to me after he got his hands on a better copy that had the stickers. He showed me them after he got it (only had the four-sticker sheet, not the "diamond" one you referred to). Had it auto'd by Stephen Morris. Said he handed it to Steve after a NO show, and his eyes got wide and he said something to the effect of "where did you get this, can I have it?"

Funny ... I brought my FAC 2 to a Peter Hook DJ gig here in LA a few years ago, and mid-set I waved it at him from up close (no, don't ask me why I did it mid-set) and he motioned me over and signed it and said something that sounded like "I don't even have one of these!

I just wanted to say I bought some GREAT items from ciamatta recently. He shipped them quickly and they were incredibly well packed not to mention reasonably priced. You should not hesitate to contact him to buy records.
