I'll see what I can do.

Will try to make some photo's over the next few days of the material I have lying around from the old days.

I simply have too little time.

I've been been working on my "new" DIE WELT track for over a year now. [comp]

Time flies so damn fast.

Thanks. I’ve had a bit of a look but couldn’t see any scans of ‘Standard’. Just some scans of general punk fanzines.

That would be wonderful, Max, and I’d be massively grateful. Loved the first two issues and would really love to see issues 3-6.

Hi Max.

Any luck with these?
I noticed that you posted a day or so after the above post, but I can't see any content in that post.  I just wondered if something had gone wrong and the images didn't show up or similar.

Many thanks.

Yep, FACTSHEET FAC. 2A, that's the fanzine that got me started.

Not only did it me inspire to do my own, it helped me get in touch with the right people to do it (Gerard Davelaar also worked on FACTSHEET and the H.I.C. books and was a great help / contact with STANDARD FACTUS ) and I also met my ex-girlfriend through it.

She's in the personal / musical ads...Marie .P from Vittel, France.

Good music and good times, they do go together! [wink]

No problem. Sorry for hassling - I’m just really pleased that I will finally get to see the fanzines. Really looking forward to it.

Nice atmospheric piece of music by the way. I liked the Isolation cover a lot too. I will have a listen to your other pieces on your channel.

I managed to get a copy of Factsheet 2A a couple of weeks ago.
I’m always on the lookout for old JD/NO fanzines, so thanks for the ‘headsup’.

Well I've got some photos ready but apparently I can only upload with URL....

Is there a way I can upload photos directly to this site?

Sorry - I don’t know. It doesn’t look like it to me but I’m not an expert.

It will be a bit of a pain for you to have to load up each image separately.
I suppose an alternative would be to upload a folder of the images to mediafire etc. and provide a download link.
I know that doesn’t show the actual images on this thread but would save a bit of time.

Hi Max.

It looks like I can see a couple of photos, but only following links that I received by email (as I’m watching this thread)
It looks like the links should really be showing in this thread, but aren’t. Maybe something has gone wrong.

Have you uploaded two photos or are there more? If more, I don’t think can see those additional ones.

Okay, the story begins....

This is the original (FAC. P. 01) A-4 sized poster that were displayed in local shops for promoting the fanzine.

Made by me, all handwritten of course.

And using cut out photos, glue and copy machines.

I intended to use this cut out shape with future editions with different photos behind it but that never happened.

The following editions were made (a lot) more professionally.

I used to write with a bunch of fans who all contributed to the fanzine.

Back in those days we didn't have email and the internet and pc's at home like we have now so it was all sending and receiving letters and waiting for days for the mail to arrive.

I was lucky Gerard Davelaar contacted me a few weeks later and asked me if he could do some work on STANDARD FACTUS II.

He sure did a wonderful job, FACTUS II was impressing to me / us at STANDARD.

If any of you are interested I can do that one next.
