Royksopp - The understanding. Great album by great guys! I actually do my grocery shopping in the same store as Svein Berge sometimes uses. He's a really nice guy!

And now: Kraftwerk: Minimum - Maximum (LP version - more punch). These guys are totally unbelievable!

I really like the Minimum Maximum Kraftwerk live album as well... it reminds me of the show so much... it was probably the best show I've ever seen

I've been listening to the Best of the Durutti Column lately too!  I played a couple of tracks from that CD at 2 of my DJ nights lately.

Shred - do you mean Organisation by OMD?

I very much like Kraftwerk but haven't heard of this title.

The name of the CD is called Tone Float and it was when Kraftwerk called themselves "Organisation" - its the first record they put out in 1968.  It is actually only Ralf Hutter, Florian Schneider and a few other guys.  It is out of print and a good one to find if you are big Kwerk fan.

Thanks for that; blimey a mate of mine has a double gatefold album around the early 70's where KW have used guitars!

This takes the buscuit and I wouldn't be surprised if this is where OMD got the name for their second album.

Back to the thread.... I am listening to The Who - Live at Leeds at the moment.

I read that that is where OMD got their name for the album, so you are right.

What else am I listening to - Ministry/Over the Shoulder/Twitch

coincidentally, OMD's Enola Gay is a topical song of the moment - 60th anniversary of Hiroshima...

shred - Would love to know where you DJ if you play that!? Never find anywhere where I like the music. (Apart from maybe, 'Have you got an NUS'? 5th Avenue)
