i'm just about buying all three remastered collector's edition cd's with resembling cover artwork & caught myself gazing in grace at the originals on vinyl i've collected over the years & how careful i handle them,so no harm, crease or scratch comes near them(my girlfriend is not allowed to go near them, she's a child of the cd era!)!i'm just hoping that i'm not the only one & i'm curious,if anyone else feels the same?!my most prized are the following........... 1.all original 'factory' first pressings (which they are to my knowledge) 2.og pics of 'the basement-cologne' i accidentally found (introduced me to this site) 3.the book 'an ideal for living' first press (great insight!) 4.scarce vinyl bootlegs (pearl harbor, factory by the moonlight, death trip, just to mention my fave's) a bit slim,i know, that's why i would love to hear from you.i bet there are a lot of stories out there like : ''i bought 'AIFL' in.........'' or '' my mate showed me this & then i......'' & so on.cheers for any response.

Transmission 7", fully autographed. I put it in a plastic sleeve the night I got back from the gig and it's only been taken out of that sleeve twice that I recall. It lives in a biscuit tin along with around 30 other of my fave 7-inchers, never to be sold.

Got a fair few things signed etc but these two stick out "Index" - first single by Felt - signed by Lawrence - he later told me that this was the only one he had ever signed - it only came about because I had it on me when I bumped into him in Virgin Megastore in the 90's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" 7" - signed by two people who I interviewed 6 mths apart in 1988 - Peter Hook and John Peel!

I dont have any signed stuff but I'm very proud of my A Christmas of Joy pink pic disc and the New Order Dreams Never End 3 Lp box with the first demoes and interview in a 7" - dont know how are they prized but they are small teasures at least in my heart as for the other bands i guess the Death in June's State laughter/Holywater 7" with stiker (1982) is "well prized" and quite rare - but then again what really counts is the beauty of the cover and the magic of the musik

Sordide Sentimental in very nice condition. I still regret selling the negative blue sleeve of Hand in Glove in 1996 though. And all 3 copies of Love Buzz I've owned. And, oh never mind.

Lee thanks again for opening my eyes to Felt. Great band; so underrated.
