Good quality recording of a cracking gig. And it has the complete set which not all bootlegs have.  (And a great version of LWTUA which had only been debuted a couple of weeks before.)

Got it from X Records in Bolton. First time I'd been in there, man, is that one helluva treasure trove! Could have spent the proverbial 50 quid and then some!!

the white or yellow cover?

I just finished The Haçienda: How Not to Run a Club two weeks ago, and before that I devoured my copy of Touching from a Distance. I am currently halfway through House of Dolls (Right in time for Yom HaShoah no less). The last non book related purchase was a tee-shirt.

If you have the Götterdämmerung LP I sure hope your recird player has a 10% +/- pitch control, you'll need it. Same goes for that Shadowplay LP.
They both run wayyy too fast.

I got the german hardback version of so this is permanence. ......which was a bit of a let down as it copies the 7" of l.w.t.u.a design & not the hessian bound version of still which is a little ironic as 'hessian' is a german book binding tradition.
On a side note....finally got around to buy crass' s christ-the album boxed version which was a delight.

I have to correct my post above this one:after getting the original uk copy i started to like the german edition more and more, design is more impressive with the golden lettering inlay in the thick hardback cover emulating lwtua 7" cover + it has a silk band page reminder.....all-in-all a high quality product that will satisfy even british customers for collection expansion.it only has a the german translation addition next to original text,so you won't miss anything from the original print.highly recommendable!
guess i was miffed in my old post as i wanted the hessian feel to the book....a bit supaficial in hindsight.
anyway,go grab a copy as they are still reasonable priced at the moment and i have a hunch that first prints will be a thing in the future again....but that is not the reason why we collect, innit😎😉🤦

I recently bought Peter Hooks book unknown pleasures
& Bernard Sumner's chapter & verse
my partner got me an unknown pleasures t-shirt & badge from a market stall when she visited London recently.
from ebay got 7" love will tear us apart (just a regular copy - nothing fancy)

still can't quite get how to play love will tear us apart on my bass yet - but then again I haven't practiced much, so no surprise really.
I did happen upon the tune to dead los angeles by stranglers off Raven LP & was quite pleased with myself about this.
though I stumbled upon holiday in Cambodia bass riff (DK's song) a few years ago & its remained elusive ever since....I'm a very hit & miss player of said tunes!

I've finally managed to get a copy of Still, the Italian edition with the wrong master.

As it's been a long search, I wanted to share it here, being one of the few places where "people will understand".

“This Searing Light” hardback with nice shiny cover arrived and also just picked up the 2015 Substance CD. The 19 track one with As You Said & Pennine LWTUA added to original running order and without the stupid ‘Appendix’ thing on the back. Tracks taken from the +/- singles remasters. Hopefully if it sounds good and isn’t brickwalled to hell, this will be the definitive Substance

following your message I've also bought this edition of Substance of which I was not even aware, somehow I must have overlooked it!

and after so long time it was in my wishlist that I don't even remember the reason why (discogs says it's more than 7 years), I've managed to get hold of the Winter Gardens double cd. it was a nice month, indeed.
